Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys played a set as part of a free concert in University Park near Central Square. I’d never seen these guys before, but from what I had heard, I didn’t know how their Carnivale-style performance would play with all the 10-year-olds in the audience (and their parents.) Apparently just fine, considering one of those kids ended up sitting in with the band.

The Lights Out @ the Rock House, Allston - July 15, 2011

Much thanks to local rock photographer JustBill and the other residents of the Rock House in Allston, the bad-ass bands Neurological Damage, the Lights Out, and the Few, as well as all the Boston-area artists who brought their work for everyone to enjoy. This is the fourth time this roughly-annual event has come together, and it was awesome enough to go for five.
